Preserving and restoring historical moments
From saving a video of the first flight of the Wright brothers to restoring movie posters, we strive to create a library full of history’s greatest works. Our library of thousands of films and images have been in documentaries, museums, and NFTs across the world.

What We Do
Media Licensing
Most of the content in our library is available for licensing to add into your film, documentary, or photo collection.
Media Purchasing
Every week we add new content to our ever-growing library of media. If you would like to sell the rights to your media, please contact us.
Media Restoration
If your media needs restoration work, but you are not interested in selling the rights.
Usage Rights
PastLens, LLC owns the rights to every film and still image in the PastLens library. In most cases, we license out films and images to be used in other films, museums, and programs. In some circumstances, we may sell the rights to our media to a third party. Please contact us for more details.
Producers
We encourage you to view through our library of film and still images for your next project.
Our curation, sales, and reference librarians team is dedicated to your success, and we can help you locate the media you need for your upcoming project.
Sellers
We are always searching for more content for our library. If you own the rights to any film or images, we may be interested.
While we encourage any media owners to contact us, we are currently looking to expand our Western and silent film divisions of the library.
